Zelenskyy starts his visit to Poland – Nikiforov
KYIV. April 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived on the territory of Poland, his official visit to this country has begun, President’s press secretary Serhiy Nikiforov has said.
“The President is in Poland. He started his official visit together with the First Lady of Ukraine. He will meet with President of Poland, his colleague Andrzej Duda, with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. There will also be many other bilateral and multilateral meetings,” Nikiforov said on the telethon broadcast on Wednesday morning.
In addition, according to him, a big speech of the president is planned for Poles and Ukrainians in Poland in the evening.
The main topic of the talks will be security issues, Nikiforov noted.
“Defense is on the first place, which is absolutely obviously. We will talk about defense, about the economy, we will talk about cross-border traffic, in particular, about railway communication, about expanding opportunities for crossing the border. We will talk a lot about the economy both at the state level and at the planned meeting with business representatives. We will also discuss our European issues, sanctions issue consists of large list of topics,” he said.
