Zelenskyy meets with German Social Democratic Party's leaders in Kyiv
KYIV. March 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with leaders of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Lars Klingbeil and Rolf Mützenich on Monday.
“I am grateful to Germany for its comprehensive support for our country since the first days of full-scale Russian aggression. I am particularly grateful for sheltering more than a million forcibly displaced persons from Ukraine, for leading the formation of the tank coalition by providing German Leopard tanks, and for contributing to the protection of Ukrainian skies by transferring the highly effective IRIS-T air defense system. It is important to further strengthen our alliance relations,” he said in his Telegram channel.
