Zelenskyy does not rule out 'certain actions' in case of threat of Bakhmut's encirclement

KYIV. April 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the enemy does not control Bakhmut, but did not rule out “certain actions” if the city is threatened with encirclement.

“The key thing for me is not to lose our military. And if there is a moment of even hotter events, the danger that we will lose personnel due to the encirclement, there will be appropriate correct actions of the generals on the spot,” he said at a press conference in Warsaw following talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda on Wednesday.

“But the faster ammunition reaches Ukraine, the faster we will fight not only in Bakhmut, but in our country as a whole,” Zelenskyy said.

“But we are in Bakhmut and the enemy does not control Bakhmut,” he said.
