Zelensky to take part in Summit for Democracy on Thurs, his talk with Biden scheduled at about 19:30 Kyiv time – Nykyforov
KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The conversation between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the United States Joseph Biden will take place at about 19:30 Kyiv time on Thursday, Zelensky’s spokesman Serhiy Nykyforov has said.
"Regarding the conversation with the U.S. President, we expect it to be held at 19:30 Kyiv time. This is a preliminary time, changes are possible," Nykyforov wrote on his Facebook.
He added that before that, the head of the Ukrainian state is to take part in an online summit for democracy.
As reported, Zelensky plans to provide a detailed comment on Biden’s conversation with Vladimir Putin after his conversation with Biden that is scheduled for Thursday.
Biden will host the Summit for Democracy in virtual mode on December 9-10. It will bring together over 100 representatives from invited governments, civil society and the private sector.
