Zelensky to speak at urgent G7 meeting
KYIV. Oct 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he had agreed with German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the urgent convening of the G7 meeting.
"Agreed with Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany holding presidency of G7 on an urgent meeting of the Group. My speech is scheduled, in which I’ll tell about the terrorist attacks by RF. We also discussed the issue of increasing pressure on RF & aid in restoring damaged infrastructure," he said on Twitter on Monday. "Also had an urgent call with Emmanuel Macron. We discussed the strengthening of our air defense, the need for a tough European and international reaction, as well as increased pressure on the Russian Federation. France stands with Ukraine," he also said on Twitter.
