Zelensky thanks Netherlands for transfer of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine
KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Netherlands for handing over Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
"Grateful to the Dutch PM for the intention to provide Patriot air defense system to Ukraine," Zelensky said on Twitter.
The president said this would greatly improves Ukraine’s air defense, protects our cities and people from Russia’s missile terror.
"We value the Netherlands’ support in countering the aggressor. Together we’re moving towards a common victory," the head of state said.
As reported, the Dutch authorities decided to transfer the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, Western media said on Tuesday.
