Zelensky thanks Macron for his support
KYIV. Nov 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to French President Emmanuel Macron for his support and greetings for the liberation of Kherson from the occupiers.
"Thank you, Emmanuel Macron. These steps will not stop until the flag of Ukraine flutters over each of our cities and villages. We are grateful that we are walking along this road hand in hand with allies like you and your people," Zelensky said in Twitter on Friday night.
Earlier it was reported that Macron said he welcomes the liberation of Kherson from Russian invaders, and considers it an important step towards the restoration of Ukrainian sovereignty.
