Zelensky: terrorists have two targets – energy facilities and people
KYIV. Oct 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian terrorists have two targets – energy facilities and people.
"It’s a heavy morning, we’re dealing with terrorists. Dozens of missiles, Iranian Shaheds. They have two targets. Energy facilities throughout our country. They want panic and chaos, they want to destroy our power grid. They are hopeless. The second target is people. They deliberately chose such a time to cause as much harm as possible," he said on Monday morning in a video message.
"But we are Ukrainians, we help each other, we believe in ourselves, we restore everything that was destroyed. There may be temporary power outages, but there will never be a loss in our confidence," he said.
According to Zelensky, "the enemy wants us to get scared, run, but we can only run forward and demonstrate it on the battlefield. Rescuers and air defense are working. To date, 38 air targets have been shot down. Stay in shelters today."
