Zelensky on Russia’s missile strike on Saltivka in Kharkiv: ‘We won’t forgive, we will take revenge’
KYIV. Aug 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the evening shelling of Saltivka residential area in Kharkiv.
"When one hears about Kharkiv Saltivka, it’s pain again. Pain for the whole of Ukraine. Pain for Kharkiv," the president wrote on the Telegram channel.
The Head of State noted that as a result of the missile strike of the Russian occupation troops on Kharkiv Saltivka, the dormitory building was completely destroyed.
Currently, the establishment of the exact number of victims of the shelling continues.
"A vile and cynical strike against civilians, which has no justification and demonstrates the powerlessness of the aggressor. We will not forgive, we will take revenge," Zelensky stressed.
As reported, on Wednesday evening, the Russians launched a missile attack on Saltivka district of Kharkiv. The number of victims and injured people as a result of the shelling of Saltivka residential area in Kharkiv, committed by the Russian occupation forces on Wednesday evening, increased to six and 16 people, respectively.
