Zelensky on his second term: I should keep my promises, then take a rest
KYIV. Sept 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky says that he would like to have time to fulfill all his promises within one term of the head of state.
On the sidelines of the YES Brainstorming forum in Kyiv on Friday, when asked by a journalist of the Ukrayinska Pravda ezine whether the president plans to run for a second term, Zelensky said: "It is up to the people of Ukraine," he said.
To the clarifying question "But are you running?," the president replied: "I am not running for the second term, I would rather do everything that I promised in my one term and then rest."
