Zelensky on Brovary tragedy: As soon as clear facts about cause of disaster established, we to provide info
KYIV. Jan 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Information about the cause of the plane crash in Brovary (Kyiv region) will be provided to the public as soon as law enforcement agencies establish clear facts, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
"The SBU has launched criminal proceedings on the fact of this terrible incident. I instructed the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with all authorized agencies, to find out all the circumstances of the disaster," Zelensky said in an evening video statement.
He said: "As soon as clear facts are established as to what led to the disaster, we will provide this information."
As reported, as a result of the crash of the State Emergency Service helicopter near the kindergarten in Brovary, on board of which the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was, 14 people died, including one child.
