Zelensky meets with FMs of seven Nordic countries
KYIV. Nov 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held meetings with the foreign ministers of Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland and Sweden, who arrived in Kyiv on a visit.
“I had a meeting with Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu, Iceland Þórdís Kolbrún R. Gylfadóttir, Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis, Norway Anniken Huitfeldt, Finland Pekka Haavisto and Sweden Tobias Billström,” Zelensky said on Telegram Monday.
“This visit is an important signal of strong support and solidarity of friendly partner countries with Ukraine, especially in times of the most serious challenges. I thank the Baltic and Northern European states for their consistently active and efficient support for Ukraine in defending its territorial integrity and independence,” the head of the Ukrainian government added.
