Zelensky, Macron discuss situation at front, Russia's nuclear terrorism, macro-financial aid, food security
KYIV. Aug 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron to discuss macro-financial aid to Ukraine, food security challenges and sanctions pressure on Russia.
"Continued dialogue with French President Emmanuel Macron. Informed about the situation at the front, Russia’s nuclear terrorism at the ZNPP [Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant]. Thanked for France’s tangible defense aid. Discussed macro-financial aid to Ukraine and food security challenges. We must increase sanctions on Russia," the head of state said on Twitter.
