Zelensky does not rule out new decisions on alienation of enterprises in favor of govt
KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky does not exclude the adoption of new decisions on the alienation of strategic enterprises in favor of the government.
"Today, a decision was announced on some Ukrainian enterprises. This decision was dictated by military necessity and was agreed upon at the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Five strategic enterprises are forcibly alienated for wartime needs, Motor Sich, KrAZ, Ukrnafta, Ukrtatnafta and Zaporizhia Transformer," he said in a video statement on Monday.
According to him, some of them barely operated. "Now everyone will work. On defense. This is the repair and production of equipment, the provision of defense forces, work on the restoration of our infrastructure. A complex task that can only be accomplished through the military-state administration system. I do not rule out other similar decisions," he said.
