Zelensky, Danish PM hold productive conversation, discuss increasing financial support for Ukraine, tightening Russia-related sanctions
KYIV. Aug 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen discussed by phone the increase in financial support for Ukraine and the tightening of sanctions against Russia.
"Had a fruitful conversation with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Thanked for the successful meeting of the defense ministers and the new aid package from Denmark. Noted Denmark’s leadership in the reconstruction of Mykolaiv region. Discussed increasing financial support to Ukraine and sanctions against Russia," he said on Twitter.
