Zelensky congratulated Danish PM on formation of new Cabinet
KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on the formation of a new Cabinet of Ministers and expressed hope for further cooperation.
“I congratulate a good colleague of mine Mette Frederiksen on the successful formation of the new Cabinet and appointment as the Prime Minister of Denmark. I look forward to our further fruitful cooperation aimed at achieving peace in Europe,” Zelensky said on Twitter.
As reported on Twitter by Danish Prime Minister’s office, Frederiksen formed a new government and presented it to the Queen on Thursday morning.
The Danish Prime Minister’s office also reported that Frederiksen is taking part in a meeting of the European Council on Thursday. "The agenda includes, among other things, energy and the latest developments in Ukraine," the message reads.
