Zelensky arrives in Chisinau to participate in celebrations marking anniversary of Moldova's independence

KYIV. Aug 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in the capital of the Republic of Moldova, the city of Chisinau, to participate in the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence, the press service of the head of state reports.

"Within the framework of the working visit, the head of the Ukrainian state will hold bilateral talks with the President of Moldova and take part in a multilateral meeting of the heads of foreign delegations," the message published on the Telegram channel says.

As reported, the plane of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which was heading to Moldova, could not land in Chisinau due to heavy fog and had to land in Odesa.

Later, the Ukrainian aircraft refueled and left for Chisinau, which began to receive aircraft.
