Zelensky approves composition of delegation to UN General Assembly

KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved the composition of a delegation to participate in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Relevant decree of the President of Ukraine No. 187/2022-rp was published on the website of the head of state.

The delegation includes: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba (head of the delegation); Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Serhiy Kyslytsia (deputy head of the delegation); First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova; Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin; Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko; and Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov.

The delegation also includes Head of the Main Directorate for Foreign Policy at the Foreign Policy and Strategic Partnership Department of the President’s Office Yuriy Vitrenko (deputy member of the delegation); Director of MFA Ukraine’s International Organizations Department Valentyn Skuratovsky; and Permanent Presidential Representative for Crimea Tamila Tasheva.

"To allow the head of the delegation to involve advisers, experts and technical workers to ensure the work of the delegation," the order says.

The decree approved the directives of the Ukrainian delegation for participation in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly (classified).
