Zelensky: All objects destroyed by Russia to be restored
KYIV. Oct 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – All facilities damaged amid today’s strike by Russian terrorists will be restored, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Monday evening.
"Restoration work continues throughout the country. We will restore all the facilities damaged amid today’s strike by Russian terrorists. It’s only a matter of time," he said.
According to the president, out of 84 Russian missiles that were launched against Ukraine, 43 were shot down, and out of 24 Russian drones, 13 were shot down.
"And even after that, every ten minutes I receive a notification about the downing of Iranian Shaheds. Therefore, follow the safety rules and take into account the air raid. There is a danger. But we are fighting," he stressed.
Zelensky thanked "our Air Force and Ground Forces units that were involved today."
"It is impossible to intimidate Ukraine. Only to unite us more. It is impossible to stop Ukraine. Only to convince us even more that the terrorists need to be neutralized. Even now, the invaders cannot oppose us on the battlefield, and therefore they resort to this terror. Well, let’s make the battlefield even more painful for the enemy. And restore everything that was destroyed," he said.
"The leaders of the terrorists say that they allegedly hit all the targets they planned. Firstly, they lie as always. Secondly, they lie as always. Look at their real targets, except for energy facilities," Zelensky said, talking about the destroyed museums in the center of Kyiv and temples located near the sites of explosions, including the St. Sophia Cathedral.
