Zaluzhny informs Commander of US European Command, Chairman of US Joint Chiefs of Staff about operational situation
KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhny, held two telephone conversations with Supreme Allied Commander Europe and Commander of the United States European Command, General Christopher Cavoli, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley.
“I thanked them once again for U.S. support in Ukraine’s struggle for independence. Also, informed about the operational situation and noted that the situation is tense, but fully under control,” Zaluzhny said on Facebook.
General Cavoli and General Milley, in their turn, admired the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and assured of the U.S constant support regarding the further provision of military assistance to Ukraine.
