KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with a delegation of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development headed by OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and handed over to Secretary General of the Organization a letter from Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal replied to the official letter of the OECD confirming the granting of Ukraine the status of a participant in the OECD Working Group on Bribery in International Business Transactions, the website of the President of Ukraine reported on Tuesday.

“I thank you for your help and personal support for Ukraine’s gaining membership in the OECD Working Group on Bribery. We strive for full membership of Ukraine in your Organization. This is important for us,” Yermak said at the meeting.

He informed the OECD Secretary-General about the situation at the front and said that Ukraine has started implementing the Fast Recovery Plan, which, among other things, provides for the restoration of damaged energy infrastructure facilities.
