Working group being created in Rada to amend regulations – Stefanchuk
KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The working group on changing the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada will begin work this week.
"This week we will create a working group to improve the provisions of the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, a corresponding order will be signed. This group will be headed by Oleksandr Serhiyovych Korniyenko [first vice speaker of parliament]," Stefanchuk said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of leaders of factions and groups Parliament on Monday, November 15.
According to him, the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada should become a "system of procedures".
"Each function of the Verkhovna Rada must be provided with appropriate regulations, and we must move to the point that the provisions of the regulations must be a condition for the transformation of the parliament as a whole," Stefanchuk said.
