Woman wounded in morning shelling of Kharkiv died in hospital – police

KHARKIV. Aug 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A woman, who was wounded as a result of a shelling attack on Saltivsky district in Kharkiv mounted by the Russian occupation forces on Monday morning, has died in hospital, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region Serhiy Bolvinov has said.

"Regrettably, one of those wounded on Saltivka has died in hospital. My sincere condolences to her family and friends," he said on Facebook.

The official also said following the death of one of the victims the criminal case on the attack has been requalified from Part 1 to Part 2 of Article 438 (violation of rules of the warfare accompanied with a murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, seven civilians were wounded as a result of the enemy attack on Kharkiv on Monday morning. Two of them were provided with first aid on the spot, while another five people, including two in critical condition, were hospitalized.
