We will continue to provide assistance to more than 85,000 Ukrainians who remain in Moldova now – PM
KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilița declares that the country will continue to provide assistance to more than 85,000 Ukrainians who remain in Moldova today.
"Since the beginning of the war, more than 700,000 people from Ukraine have crossed the border with the Republic of Moldova. We will continue to provide security, shelter and other assistance to more than 85,000 Ukrainians who remain in our country," Gavrilita said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Kyiv on Tuesday.
She noted that half of the migrants are children.
In addition, she stressed that Moldova will continue to provide humanitarian assistance, as well as promote the so-called "solidarity flows".
