We have different political future – Zhelezniak on possible entry of Razumkov into Holos
KYIV. Oct 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Leader of the Holos faction Yaroslav Zhelezniak says that the faction has no common political future with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov.
"No, Mr. Razumkov and I have good and friendly relations, but our political future is different," he told reporters on the sidelines of parliament on Tuesday, answering the question if the Holos is ready to offer Razumkov to become a member of the faction after his resignation.
As for the recall of Razumkov from the post of speaker, according to Zhelezniak, at the moment there are no votes in parliament for such a decision. "I hope we don’t have a new Speaker," he said.
Among other things, the MP said that the current regulations do not allow considering the issue of Razumkov’s resignation next Thursday.
As reported, first deputy head of the Servant of the People faction Oleksandr Korniyenko does not exclude that a vote to remove Razumkov from the post of chairman of the Verkhovna Rada may take place this week.
