Washington coordinates economic measures against Moscow with allies in case of Russian invasion of Ukraine – media
WASHINGTON. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. President Joe Biden will warn during a December 7 conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin that Washington is coordinating severe economic penalties with allies in the event of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, Western media said on Monday, citing an unnamed White House official.
According to a senior U.S. administration official, "Biden will tell Putin that the United States is coordinating with allies on imposing severe sanctions on the Russian economy if Moscow invades Ukraine."
"The United States prefers economic rather than military measures," Bloomberg said.
