'Wagner members' case:' complaint filed with PGO about failure of SBI investigator to comply with court ruling
KYIV. Sept 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Former MPs Ihor Lapin and Andriy Teteruk, together with co-founder of the Democratic Sokyra political party Yuriy Hudymenko, filed a complaint with the Prosecutor General’s Office about the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) refusal to initiate criminal proceedings on possible treason of the country’s leadership.
"In the morning, together with Andriy Teteruk and Ihor Lapin, they submitted an application to the Prosecutor General’s Office. The SBI investigator, who is blocking the opening of proceedings against [Volodymyr] Zelensky under Article 111 (high treason) concerning Wagnergate," Hudymenko said in the Telegram channel on Friday.
Attorney-at-law Ihor Voloshyn said at a briefing under the PGO building, the response to the application should be received within 24 hours.
