Volume of tax amnesty exceeds UAH 6 bln – MP Hetmantsev
KYIV. Jan 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The total amount of amnestied assets for the period of validity of the voluntary declaration as of January 6 exceeded UAH 6 billion, and the amount collected to the budget reached UAH 372 million, DAnylo Hetmantsev, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, said in Telegram.
According to the data published by him, since the beginning of martial law, 430 declarations have been filed in the amount of more than UAH 3.74 billion, the amount of collection to the budget amounted to UAH 239.1 million.
Taking into account these data, the average rate of payment to the budget for the entire period of the amnesty was about 6.2%, during the martial law – almost 6.4%.
Earlier, Hetmantsev said that as of August 25, 2022, the amount of amnestied assets reached UAH 4.526 billion, and fees to the budget totaled UAH 269.2 million. At that time, a total of 479 declarations were filed, on average, for UAH 9.4 million each, or about $236,000 at the current exchange rate, and the rate of payment to the budget was 5.95%.
