Vinnytsiaoblenergo receives 45 tonnes of equipment for restoration – Ministry of Energy
KYIV. April 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Energy handed over to JSC Vinnytsiaoblenergo another batch of power equipment weighing about 10.4 tonnes.
“The cargo includes transformers, generators, insulators, cables, as well as high-voltage surge arresters. This humanitarian aid came to Ukraine from Lithuania, Finland, Moldova, Slovenia, Norway, Germany and Latvia,” the Ministry of Energy said in a release on Wednesday.
They summed up that in total, under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy, almost 45 tonnes of power equipment were distributed for the needs of Vinnytsiaoblenergo.
As reported with reference to the Ministry of Energy at the end of March, 30 countries have already provided humanitarian assistance to the energy sector – this is 470 cargoes with a total weight of about 6,000 tonnes. The Ministry distributed humanitarian aid to 111 enterprises in the energy sector.
