Venezuela gets 200,000 doses of Sputnik V's 2nd component – RDIF

MOSCOW. Sept 20 (Interfax) – Venezuela has received 200,000 doses of the second component of the Russian-designed two-shot Sputnik V vaccine for coronavirus, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said.

"200,000 doses of Sputnik V second component arrived in Venezuela today for the country’s vaccination program," RDIF, the vaccine manufacturer, said on Twitter on Monday.

Venezuela authorized the Russian-designed vaccine for use in January of this year. Sputnik V has now obtained registration in 70 countries with a total population of more than four billion people.
