USA signs contract for purchase of Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones for Ukraine
KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The United States has signed a contract for the purchase of Switchblade 600 tactical strike unmanned aircraft systems for Ukraine, developed by the American company AeroVironment, known as kamikaze drones, the U.S. Department of Defense has reported.
"Equipment – Switchblade 600, amount – $2.2 million, awardee – AeroVironment, contract award date – September 15," the document published by the U.S. Department of Defense on Tuesday states.
