USA sanctions Russia's Aerospace Forces, Military Transport Aviation command – Treasury
WASHINGTON. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The United States on Friday sanctioned three Russian entities, including the Aerospace Forces, the U.S. Department of Treasury said.
Also under the new sanctions are the Defense Ministry’s 924th State Center for UAV Aviation and Command of the Military Transport Aviation, the Department said.
According to the U.S. media, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said these entities were supposedly involved in acquiring Iranian drones.
In addition, sanctions have been imposed on a Russian maker of animation films, Kinoatis.
