USA knows that Ukraine will prevail, will continue to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes
KYIV. Aug 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day and assured that the United States will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary.
“The stories of heroism and bravery of the many Ukrainians I have met since my arrival inspire me. Today, on your National Day, I stand in awe of your steadfast defense of our shared values. The United States will stand together with you for as long as it takes,” Brink said in a video address on Twitter Wednesday.
The diplomat stressed that for six months Ukraine has been demonstrating incredible unity and determination, heroically defending itself against Russian aggression.
"Today, when you mark your Independence Day, we stand united with you as that struggle continues in the face of Russia’s brutal and unprovoked war. I want to express my profound respect to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for their extraordinary courage and strength in the fight for Ukraine’s future," Brink said.
