USA announces new package of assistance to Ukraine – media
KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The White House said on Tuesday that another aid package for Ukraine could be announced soon, CNN reports.
John Kirby, the National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications, said that another aid package for Ukraine could be announced soon.
According to him, the United States is in contact with the Ukrainian side on a daily basis to determine what Ukraine needs right now to counter Russian aggression.
Kirby stressed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using the provided weapons, have proven highly effective in counter-offensive operations, as well as earlier during the organization of defense.
In this regard, the representative of the White House called the success in the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the northeast and south of Ukraine a turning point.
