US, UK, EU Ambassadors express condolences to relatives of those killed, injured in Brovary disaster
KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink, British Ambassador Melinda Simmons and Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas expressed their condolences to the relatives of the tragically killed and injured as a result of a helicopter crash in Brovary, Kyiv region.
"Shocked and saddened by the terrible news from Brovary. My deepest condolences to the loved ones of Minister Monastyrskyi, First Deputy Yenin, and all those killed and hurt in this morning’s crash. Our hearts are with the Brovary community and our friends and partners at the Ministry of Internal Affairs," Brink said on Twitter.
The British Ambassador said she was shocked by the tragic death of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, as well as civilians as a result of a helicopter crash in Brovary.
"I knew well both Minister Monastyrsky and his First Deputy Yenin. My sincere condolences to their families and our Ukrainian government partners over this loss," Simmons said on Twitter.
The EU Ambassador said he was horrified to learn about the death of Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky and his deputy Yevhen Enin.
"My deepest condolences to the families and loved ones," he said.
