US Ambassador: We will continue to provide air defense, support for energy infrastructure that Ukraine needs to prevail
KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink reacted to the Russian missile strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine, stressing that the United States would continue to provide air defense and support for the energy infrastructure that is needed for victory.
“More missile strikes on civilian infrastructure across Ukraine make Russia’s cruel strategy clear: to bring its war into every Ukrainian home. As Secretary Blinken said, Russia’s attempt to weaponize winter is barbaric,” she said on Twitter.
The ambassador also stressed that the United States would continue to support Ukraine.
“To our Ukrainian friends, we stand with you and will continue to provide the air defense and support for energy infrastructure you need to prevail,” she noted.
