US Ambassador Brink: On Armed Forces Day, we honor Ukraine's heroic warriors fighting for their free future
KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink congratulated the Ukrainian army on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A video of congratulations was made public on the Ambassador’s Twitter page.
"On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I salute the heroic men and women who courageously defend their country since the very beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. The world knows what you are fighting for: for your families, your homes and your future in a free, democratic and prosperous Ukraine," Brink said in a congratulation.
She also wished the entire Ukrainian people and confirmed that the United States will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
"I wish the families of all Ukrainians the opportunity to live freely in your own country, secure and in peace in the world that you forge with your courage and with the unwavering support of those who support you. I am proud to represent the United States and the American people who believe in your cause and will support Ukraine in the fight against Russia’s barbaric aggression for as long as it takes," the ambassador said.
