Urals crude price fell 46% to $49.56/bbl in Feb, spread unchanged from Jan
KYIV. March 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Urals crude price averaged at $49.52 a barrel in January-February 2023, down 44.4% from $88.89/bbl in the same period of last year, the Finance Ministry said in a statement.
The price fell in February also, by 46.2% year-on-year to $49.56/bbl.
Brent crude averaged at around $83.5/bbl in February. Thus, the Urals discount was around 41% in February, as in January. The discount was 38% in December, when Brent averaged at $81.2 and Urals at $50.47.
