Updated working group to analyze implementation of 2020 gas production development concept – govt decision
KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers has updated the composition of the interdepartmental working group to analyze the implementation of the concept for the development of the gas production industry in Ukraine shaped in November last year.
The decision was made at a government meeting on Thursday.
According to the accompanying documents to the draft resolution, developed by the Ministry of Economy in connection with personnel changes in the Ministry itself and the State Service of Geology and Subsoil, the group was headed by the first deputy minister of economy, who is currently Volodymyr Hryniuk, and instead of him Deputy Head of the Service of Geology and Subsoil Roman Opimakh was introduced.
In addition, the group includes the director of the directorate for the development of the real sector of the economy of the Ministry of Economy as its deputy head, as well as the head of the department for the fuel and energy complex of the ministry as secretary. Previously, these functions were performed by the first minister for the development of trade, economy and agriculture and the deputy director of industrial policy of this ministry.
The adoption of the resolution is aimed at analyzing the implementation of the concept for the development of the gas industry, according to the explanatory note.
