UOSK insurer reduces collection of net premiums by 9.4% for nine months

KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Ukrainian Security Insurance Company (UOSK, Kyiv) in January-September 2021 collected UAH 12.240 million in net premiums, which is 9.4% less than in the same period in 2020.

According to the company’s report in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, its gross premiums for this period increased by 41.3% – to UAH 26.854 million. Some UAH 13.149 million (more by 94.8%) was transferred to reinsurance.

For the nine months the company paid out UAH 507,000, which is 56% more than in the same period a year earlier.

Administrative expenses of the company amounted to UAH 3.902 million (more by 2.3 times), sales expenses – UAH 93,000.

The pretax financial result amounted to UAH 10.359 million (less by 17.4%), net loss was UAH 9.553 million (24.5% less).

UOSK was registered in 1996 and specializes in risk types of insurance. The company’s shareholders are the Security Police department (40%) and the Security Police administration in Kyiv (20%).
