United Russia wins 324 Duma seats, Communists 57, Just Russia For Truth 27, Liberal Democrats 21, New People 13
MOSCOW. Sept 21 (Interfax) – The United Russia party has won 324 seats in the State Duma, according to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission.
The figure includes 126 mandates on federal lists of candidates and 198 mandates on single-mandate districts. That means the party will have a constitutional majority in the lower house of parliament.
The Communist Party received a combined 57 mandates, 48 of which on federal lists. The third biggest winner is A Just Russia – For Truth, with 27 mandates (19 on federal lists and eight for single-mandate districts). The Liberal Democratic Party has 21 mandates, only two of which are for single-mandate districts.
New People passed the 5% threshold, having won 13 seats. Also, Civic Platform, Rodina and the Party of Growth have secured one each, as did five independents.
