NEW YORK, UN. Oct 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths and UN Conference on Trade and Development Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan will visit Moscow on October 16 for talks on the grain deal, UN Secretary General spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Tuesday.
"Rebeca Grynspan and Martin Griffiths are still expected to go to Moscow on Sunday," Dujarric said at a press briefing.
Dujarric said that the main goal of the talks would be to expand grain supplies.
Russia, Turkey and Ukraine signed the UN-brokered document in Istanbul on July 22 to open a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports – Chornomorsk, Odesa and Pivdenny.
