Ukrzaliznytsia wants to purchase railcar sets for another UAH 110.6 mln by year end
KYIV. Aug 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Production Support Center branch of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has announced a tender for the purchase of car sets (983 side frames and 541 bolsters) for a total of UAH 110.59 million.
According to the information in the ProZorro system, the purchase is carried out under a simplified procedure, tender proposals are accepted until September 5, and the auction will be scheduled after September 1.
Delivery time of the goods is until the end of the current year. A 100% post-payment is provided within five banking days.
Potential bidders – Senso Dynamics and Ukrainian Specialized Logistics LLC (Kyiv) within the clarification period applied to the customer with the requirements to make changes to the tender documentation, however, only the second was partially satisfied.
Also, the Ukrainian manufacturer of railcar castings, Kremenchuk Steel Plant, which proposals are currently being considered by the bidder, applied with a similar request.
Ukrzaliznytsia, in particular, declared void the auction announced on August 9 for the purchase of railcar sets for UAH 102.23 million due to the lack of proposals.
At the same time, according to ProZorro, Ukrzaliznytsia intends to purchase railcar sets (576 side frames and 288 bolsters) for UAH 50.5 million from Interresources (Kropyvnytsky) based on the results of a simplified bidding procedure. At the same time, Kremenchuk Steel Plant, which showed interest, did not enter the auction.
The Interresources company, which main activity is sawmilling, offered products to the Chinese Ruzhou Tianrui Company for production of spare parts for locomotives and wagons. At present, the intention to sign the agreement has been published.
Among the latest tenders held by Ukrzaliznytsia, in particular, is the purchase of solid-rolled wheels for UAH 188 million from Interpipe Nyzhniodniprovsky Pipe Rolling Plant by the end of the year (a contract is expected to be signed).
