Ukrposhta delivers 150 tonnes of parcels from Poland in two months
KYIV. Dec 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the two months of partnership between the national postal operator of Poland Poczta Polska and JSC Ukrposhta, parcels with a total weight of more than 150 tonnes have been delivered to Ukraine.
According to a report by Ukrposhta, the average delivery time was about 10 days.
At the same time, the cost of delivery of an EMS express shipment weighing up to 20 kg from Poland to Ukraine varies from PLN 42 to PLN 82 per parcel.
All parcels undergo simplified customs clearance, in accordance with postal legislation.
Earlier, in early October 2022, Poczta Polska and Ukrposhta reduced tariffs for EMS shipments to Ukraine by 75%. The revision of tariffs took place as part of the deepening of cooperation, enshrined in a memorandum of partnership between Poczta Polska and Ukrposhta.
The next step will be the reduction of tariffs for shipments from Ukraine to Poland – the updated export tariffs will come into effect from January 2023
