Ukrnafta resumes gas sales at auctions in late 2022
KYIV. Jan 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In November-December 2022, PJSC Ukrnafta resumed sales of natural gas at exchange auctions.
"In November-December, the company sold 17.1 million cubic meters of blue fuel on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange," the company’s press release said on Thursday.
In addition, Ukrnafta has also stepped up its work in the market for the supply of natural gas to the end consumer, the company noted.
As director of PJSC Ukrnafta Serhiy Koretsky (replaced Oleh Hez as head of the company on November 10, 2022) stated in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine at the end of December 2022, the company planned to sell its own gas reserves in underground storage facilities in a total volume of more than 500 million cubic meters on the stock exchange and/or through direct contracts.
According to him, Ukrnafta also planned to actively enter the market of natural gas supplies to end consumers.
