Ukrnafta opens 11 new 'points of invincibility' in three regions

KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PJSC Ukrnafta has opened 11 new "points of invincibility" based on its filling stations in Kyiv, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions, the company’s press service reported.

According to it, each point is equipped with additional generators and an Internet access point so that people can warm up, drink hot tea or coffee, charge mobile phones and contact relatives.

"In total, there are already 37 filling stations in the network operating in the "points of invincibility" mode and are ready to receive people in the event of prolonged power outages as a result of attacks by Russian terrorists, another 263 filling stations can operate regardless of the state of the power grid, selling fuel," director of Ukrnafta Serhiy Koretsky said.

Ukrnafta owns 85 special permits for hydrocarbon production. It has 1,791 oil and 147 gas wells on its balance sheet. The company owns 537 gas stations, of which 449 were operating as of the end of December 2022. The rest are either damaged as a result of hostilities or are located in the temporarily occupied territories.
