Ukrenergo transferred to management of Ministry of Energy
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Energy has received the status of a securities account manager of NPC Ukrenergo, the Stock Market Infrastructure Development Agency of Ukraine (SMIDA) reported on Monday with reference to the register of securities owners dated September 16.
According to the register, the state represented by the Ministry of Energy became the owner of 100% of Ukrenergo shares.
According to the report of SMIDA, the Ministry of Energy, pursuant to government resolution No. 833-r dated July 28, 2021, took measures related to the introduction of the ministry as the manager of the NPC securities account transferred to it for management.
As reported, the said resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal of the Ministry of Economy on the transfer of powers to manage corporate rights to the NPC from the Ministry of Finance to the Ministry of Energy.
