Ukrainians most often search for goods for army on Rozetka in April

KYIV. May 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Bulletproof vests, military uniforms, tactical gloves and goggles were among the most popular product categories of the Rozetka online retailer in April.

"Despite the fact that many people have a difficult financial situation, bulletproof vests, uniforms, generators are still in the search top – everything that the army and territorial defense may need. We are very grateful to our marketplace partners, cool Ukrainian entrepreneurs who are doing everything to make such positions appeared on Rozetka in the near future," Rozetka co-founder Vladyslav Chechotkin is quoted in a press release.

Since the end of March, sales in the household chemicals and cosmetics categories have also increased, according to the retailer. In the household appliances category, electric kettles and vacuum cleaners are in the lead.

In addition, baby food, diapers, pet food, food products, alcohol, cigarettes, sportswear and shoes, mobile phones, power banks, laptops and tablets are in demand.

In April, Rozetka reopened 141 distribution points (there were 270 before the war) in 52 Ukrainian cities.

As reported, the online retailer also returned its own delivery in Kyiv and the region, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, delivery to all working branches of Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta.

Rozetka was founded in 2005 in Kyiv as an online electronics and household appliances store. In subsequent years, the company transformed into a multi-category online marketplace.
