Ukrainian troops entrench in five villages of Beryslav district in Kherson region – Pivden task force
KYIV. Oct 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Armed Forces of Ukraine have entrenched in the villages of Novovasylivka, Novohryhorivka, Nova Kamianka, Tryfonivka and Chervone in Beryslav district of Kherson region, the Pivden (South) task force said on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
"Our units secured the success in liberation of Novovasylivka, Novohryhorivka, Nova Kamianka, Tryfonivka and Chervone in Beryslav region. Stabilization measures are continuing to restore social and critical infrastructure there," the report says.
At the same time, according to the command, the occupying troops in Kherson region are focusing their main efforts on holding the occupied territories and deterring the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The enemy is intensively conducting aerial reconnaissance around 17 settlements along the front line and the newly liberated territories. It continues shelling our positions and rear territories, and does not disdain man-made blackmail," the report says.
