Ukrainian soldier wounded amid six enemy attacks in Donbas in past 24 hours – JFO HQ
KYIV. Dec 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day, six violations of the ceasefire regime by the Russian occupation forces have been recorded, as a result of which the Ukrainian military was wounded, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said on Friday morning.
"As a result of hostile actions, one soldier of the Joint Forces was wounded. The soldier is placed in a hospital. His health condition is satisfactory," the report says.
At the same time, the headquarters clarified that attacks were made with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
In particular, in the direction of Novoluhanske, the enemy fired from 82 mm mortars and hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers. In the direction of Shyrokyne, invaders fired from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers. Not far from Krasnohorivka, Russian mercenaries used 120 mm mortars. Near Vodiane on the Azov Sea, the enemy fired from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms. In the area of Katerynivka, in Luhansk region, shelling was carried out from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. Near Svitlodarsk, mercenaries fired at our positions with small arms.
Ukrainian defenders opened fire in return, without using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, and forced the enemy to stop shelling.
"As of 7:00, on December 3, no violation of the ceasefire by the Russian occupation forces was recorded," the headquarters said.
